Chiropractic Spokane WA Exercise

One of, if not the best bang for your buck exercise for building core strength to help prevent low back pain or rehab a back injury in Spokane. This is an isometric exercise, where you hold the push-up position for as long as you can. Sounds easy? Give it a try. There are several variations but we are going to focus on the prone and side planks here. If you are new to planks or are having a fair amount of back pain then I would suggest starting out with your knees on the floor, build them up till you can do 60-90 seconds, they try from the toes. My favorite is holding them from your toes for as long as you can and then immediately go to the knees without any rest and hold again for as long as you can.

It is a good idea to watch a clock or have a stop watch while doing these so that you can keep track of your progress.
